Initial figure she gave me was $160 month

OK, she has called back with some firm figures:
$175.32 excluding taxes monthly access fee
$110 installation fee
$150 deposit (required to initiate order)
$95 jack fee (I can opt to install this myself)
3com ISDN modem $215

Minimum time frame one to two months could easily run more because of all the details involved in getting it set up.
I will need a modem and some means of connecting i.e. an ISP/router/sever/network switch/whatever. US West has an ISDN modem for around $215.

ICS will provide two B channel connections as if they are two accounts i.e. $39.90 a month.

Joe would like to get an email in regards to the firm quote that US West give me for the connection. It seems that they looked into the cost for a company just north of town and it was going to run around $260 a month. They ended up going with a frame relay solution. Initial set up costs for this are beyond the realm of possible for me.

Looking at these figures it may make more sense to MOVE. That is, move to an area where DSL is available and avoid this old tech altogether.
